Charles and his wife, Naomi (pictured right), made certain that their new shop would carry on the Nell family tradition of providing customers with wholesome products, friendly service and competitive prices. The market’s reputation for quality and freshness grew throughout the area and quickly became known as an outstanding place of business. 

The next generation of Nells entered into the family run market in 1980 when Charles and Naomi’s youngest daughter, Michelle, married and brought her husband, Bruce, into the business. In 2004, Michelle and Bruce Arndt (pictured left) took over the reigns and have successfully carried on the family’s reputation for excellence ever since. Although the market continues to feature a wide selection of meats, homemade salads and deli items, Michelle and Bruce have worked diligently to offer their customers even a wider variety of wholesome goods - most notably fresh, in-season produce including items from Charlie Nell’s own garden.

Assisting Michelle and Bruce these days is the newest generation of family members - their children, Evan Arndt and Kristin Chrismer. As with previous generations, Evan and Kristin are working hard to expand the family business even more. Evan is heading up the market's new line of all natural pet products and Kristin is managing production of the market's new beef jerky products.

Though many things have changed through the years, the goal of our family business has not. Stoney Point Farm Market will always do our best to provide our customers with a wholesome, quality product in an honest and friendly atmosphere.
